Another Loved One Gone-

Yesterday, we lost my step-mom Mickey. She passed away in her sleep at 3:46 AM. She had been battling some issues for about two months now, and finally gave up the fight. Her emotions were up and down, I think they were only up to keep me and the family thinking positive about her recovery. Although, I think she had a different plan. She missed my dad and my aunt (my dad's sister) who passed away in September from Cancer, I think she felt alone. Everyone she had known since she came over here from Japan, 55 years ago, has passed away. She lived 85 long, wonderful years. She had a heart of gold, would give you the shirt off her back, even if she had nothing to replace it with. She made sure you were always fed, and had a alteast a dollar in your pocket. She is in no more pain, which that I am grateful. I am sure she is smiling, enjoying family and cooking up a storm right now! We will miss her dearly.
