You know when you wake up and get the family going, whether or not it is going to be a bad day or not. Let me explain, while making scrambled eggs, you crack the egg (as you always do) and there is more shell in the bowl than egg, your daughter comes up stairs looking like Pat Benatar (jean skirt, white leggings, striped-NEON knee high socks, every piece of jewelry she owns), then again, now I think she just looked like my neighbor dressed up for Halloween, then Macen couldn't find his glasses, as I am cooking, making Ashtyn change, trying to find Macen's glasses, then I hear the dreaded motor of the BUS! ARGH leaving my house with snow flying behind it. CRAP! Now, I missed my 1st workout class because I had to take them to school, all while Macen complained of his throat hurting, so I got him in to the Dr. (that was lucky) and guess what? Strep! DANG IT! Now, I have to take him and Ava to get dog food so our dog won't starve today, and stop at the store for laundry detergent. Thank goodness for the pharmacy drive-thru, which I waited in line for 10 minutes because we have new insurance and they had to change everything! Today has been a GREAT day!
But I am sure all these things are oh so familiar to other mom's out there, unless, I just have a oh so crazy, dysfunctional family...which, I don't believe! LOL
